Description

Why should you attend?

The ISO 55001 Transition training course enables participants to thoroughly understand the differences between ISO 55001:2014 and ISO 55001:2024, helping organizations effectively update and align their Asset Management Systems (AMS) with the latest version of the standard. As ISO 55001 was updated in July 2024 after nearly a decade, it introduces important refinements that organizations must consider to maintain compliance and improve asset management performance.

This training course provides a comprehensive overview of the key updates introduced in ISO 55001:2024. While the overall structure of the standard remains consistent, the revised version emphasizes emerging trends such as sustainability, climate change considerations, and improved lifecycle management. It also includes updates to terminology, enhanced requirements related to leadership and planning, and better alignment with other ISO management system standards.

By attending this training course, participants will gain the knowledge required to identify gaps between the previous and updated versions and implement the necessary changes within their organization. This ensures a smooth transition while maintaining efficiency and compliance. After completing the training course, participants can take the certification exam and apply for the “PECB Certified ISO 55001:2024 Transition” credential, demonstrating their ability to transition an AMS in line with updated requirements. To build a stronger foundation or expand expertise further, participants can also explore the ISO 55001 Foundation training course, advance their implementation skills through the ISO 55001 Lead Implementer training course, or enhance auditing capabilities with the ISO 55001 Lead Auditor course.
