Certified ISO/TS 31050 Emerging Risks Manager

The Certified ISO/TS 31050 Emerging Risks Manager training course provides participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to identify, assess, manage, monitor, and communicate emerging risks in accordance with ISO/TS 31050 guidance.

The course focuses on the challenges associated with uncertainty, changing contexts, weak signals, emerging risk identification, risk assessment, treatment, monitoring, communication, resilience, and risk intelligence.

Participants will learn how to apply ISO/TS 31050 guidance within the broader risk management process and support organizations in anticipating, responding to, and adapting to emerging risks.

The training is suitable for risk managers, decision-makers, governance professionals, business continuity professionals, consultants, and others responsible for managing uncertainty and emerging risks.

Why Should You Attend?

Emerging risks can develop rapidly and may be difficult to identify using traditional risk management approaches. Changes in technology, markets, regulations, environmental conditions, geopolitics, and organizational environments can create new risks before sufficient historical data is available.

This training provides a structured approach to understanding and managing these evolving risks using ISO/TS 31050 guidance.

Participants will learn how to identify weak signals, recognize sources of uncertainty, assess changing and emerging risks, select appropriate risk treatments, and monitor risk developments.

The course also explains how risk intelligence can support timely decision-making and help organizations strengthen resilience and adapt to changing conditions.

For professionals looking to develop broader risk management expertise, Risk Professionals also offers ISO 31000 Risk Management Training and related risk management programs.
